Who runs this website

Verdan Studio is the public name of a visual-production practice. It is not an incorporated company.

The practice is operated jointly from Spain by Antonio Manzano Lázaro and Juan Manuel Gómez Vargas. They decide together why and how the information sent through this website is used, and both of them handle it personally.

What we collect

We only collect what you type into the property submission form, plus whatever you choose to include if you write to us by email. The form asks for:

• the link to the property you want us to look at
• your name
• your email address
• the property's location
• your role in relation to the property
• what you would most like to improve
• when you are considering production
• an optional message, which is free text — please don't include anything sensitive you don't need to share
• the language the form was filled in

Why we use it

We use what you send to:

• read and understand your inquiry
• look at the property and how it is presented today
• reply to you and discuss a possible project
• keep the correspondence that belongs to a project we actually work on

Legal basis

Reading your inquiry, replying to it and discussing a possible project: Article 6(1)(b) of the GDPR — steps taken at your request before entering into a contract.

Correspondence and information that forms part of a project we are actually working on with you: Article 6(1)(b) of the GDPR — performance of that contract.

Protecting the form and the website against automated abuse: Article 6(1)(f) of the GDPR — our legitimate interest in keeping the website and our inbox usable and secure.

If we ever have to keep something in order to comply with a legal obligation, we do that under Article 6(1)(c) of the GDPR.

We don't use your details for newsletters, marketing lists or advertising, and we don't make automated decisions about you or build a profile of you.

Which services are involved

We keep the number of services involved small. These are the ones that can touch information you send:

• Cloudflare — provides the DNS, the network and the runtime that serve this website, and the Turnstile security check on the form.
• Cloudflare Turnstile — the check that separates people from automated scripts before the form is accepted. Cloudflare's documentation states that it processes signals such as your IP address, TLS fingerprint, browser user-agent and the site key of the page, and that it does not access, store or transmit what you type into the form.
• Resend — sends your inquiry from the website to our mailbox as a single email.
• Zoho Mail — hosts contact@verdanstudio.com, where your inquiry arrives and where the correspondence is kept.

We don't use analytics, advertising or marketing tracking scripts on this website: there is no Plausible, no Google Analytics and nothing comparable. The only third-party script intentionally included by Verdan Studio is Cloudflare Turnstile, which runs on the submission pages for security and anti-abuse purposes.

Where your information is processed

These providers run international infrastructure, so information can be processed or stored outside Spain and outside the European Economic Area.

Resend publishes that it acts as a processor for the data its customers send through it and that its data processing agreement uses the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses. Zoho publishes that data may be processed in the United States, the European Economic Area and other countries where it operates.

We are still confirming the exact agreements and hosting region that apply to our own accounts with those providers, and we will correct this section as soon as that is settled.

How long we keep it

Inquiries that don't lead to a project: we keep them for a maximum of six months from our last exchange with you, and delete them in periodic manual clean-ups.

Correspondence that belongs to a project we actually work on: we keep it for as long as the project relationship lasts, and afterwards only for as long as we need it for the ordinary administration of that relationship or to meet a legal requirement.

Our providers keep their own copies for their own periods. Resend publishes that email and log data is retained for 30 days on its Free, Pro and Scale plans. Email in our Zoho mailbox stays there until we delete it.

Your rights

You can ask us to:

• give you a copy of what we hold about you (access)
• correct anything that is wrong (rectification)
• delete it (erasure)
• limit what we do with it (restriction)
• stop using it where we rely on our legitimate interest (objection)
• send it to you or to another provider in a portable format (portability)

How to exercise them

Write to contact@verdanstudio.com. The two of us handle these requests personally — there is no form to fill in and no ticket system.

If you believe we have handled your information badly, you can also complain to the Spanish supervisory authority, the Agencia Española de Protección de Datos (aepd.es).

Security

The form is protected by Cloudflare Turnstile, which has to pass before anything is sent. What you type travels inside the body of an encrypted request — never in the address bar and never in a link.

This website has no database. Your inquiry is not stored here: it becomes one email delivered to our mailbox. The site's own code sets no cookies and stores nothing in your browser.

Changes to this notice

If what we do changes, we update this page first. The date at the top shows when it was last changed.
